The series, The Biggest Loser, was premiered on October 19, 2004, a reality series that aimed to make overweight people lose their weight. The series began with twelve candidates participating in the show for the first time. The twelve contestants are divided into two teams, Red and Blue. After the teams are divided the contestants get to face their first challenge, where they have to pull a heavy car across a track. At the end of the challenge the Blue team wins. But the Blue team loses at the weigh-in. After that it is time for the eliminations and the contestants decide to eliminate Dana. In the next episode of the series, once again it is time for the challenge and the teams will have to fight with each other again for a luxurious spa visit. The Red team wins the challenge, which is if any player tastes anything they bake, 50 percent of all profits their team made would not be counted. None of the players tasted a thing, which showed their strong determination. At the eliminations, which is to place from the Red team, the contestants decide to send home Lizzeth. In the third episode of the season, the contestants are given a task where both the teams will have to speak about their weight and their weight loss. The candidates who will mange to impress the audience at the nightclub the maximum wins the contest and will get a reward.

At the weigh in, the Red team loses more weight, despite Blue team’s hard work. Blue team will now have to eliminate one member from their team and they decide to say goodbye to Aaron. In the next episode of the series, Bob, the trainer of the Blue team is very surprised when he learns that Aaron has been asked to leave the show. Rest of the members are busy with their normal routine exercise, when they all find a giant mountain of cupcakes in the house, along with a note which said that whichever player eats the most cupcakes in 15 minutes would get to eat dinner with a loved one. The candidates then decide not to eat much cupcake, because that would be lot of calories. At the end it’s Dave who is announced as the winner of the temptation challenge, after eating one cupcake and gets to spend time with his wife. For the next physical challenge the contestants have to run up 1,500 steps to the top of a huge building. The Blue team wins the challenge. At the weigh in, it turns out that Blue team has lost more weight and Red team will have to eliminate one member from their team. The Red team decides to bid farewell to Matt, because he was not able to get along with the team. In the next episode of the series, after Matt’s eliminations, Ryan comes to know that Dave has been lying to him and the other members of the Red team ever since the game has started. The contestant’s then meet with their next challenge, which is food stacking competition; the contestants will have to build their stack the highest using only their mouths and they may not eat any of the food during the game. The Red team wins the competition. At the weigh in the Blue team loses maximum weight. Red team once again will have to eliminate one member from their team and this time they decide to eliminate Dave, who they see as the most galling member of their team. In the next episode of the series, things are not going very smooth at the ranch as the team members have started getting annoyed with each other, which is also becoming a matter of concern for the trainers.[Read More..]
