More To Love an inspiration from The Biggest Loser?
Posted by admin in About Show, Watch Episodes, watch the biggest loser Episodes on May 29th, 2009
Hi all
Most of you might have heard about the latest dating show that is being made up by the Fox people and is being named More To Love. Why I am discussing this here, you may ask and the answer is that the word ‘More’ here refers to the size of the participants of the show.
Just like the show, The Biggest Loser, here also the prime focus is on large people and how weight matters to them. It is touchy issue for many as their weight is symbolic not only of their appearances but also personalities.

So it seems like that The Biggest Loser may have had provided some sort of inspiration for the show, that is being made along the lines of another famous reality TV show, The Bachelor.
They are going to replace all the sexy and good looking people in that show and bring in average, bulky people whom you relate to in your everyday lives as well.
According the executive producer of The Bachelor, Mike Fleiss, “Most of the country isn’t a size 2….It’s the dating show for the rest of us … Embracing and loving yourself no matter your shape or size … When you are comfortable with your own body, you can really allow yourself to be open to the possibility of finding the right person to love.”
Now whatever criticisms people have for the show that it may be demeaning to label a person average or fat looking and this induct him/ her into the show I think the basic essence of the show is quite similar to The Biggest Loser.
It is good to see that a realistic dating show is being made. The message that The Biggest Loser is trying to spread that it is not about your weight but you as well, is going to make an impact in a better way.
For bonding of hearts you do not need perfect body alone, but a heart as big as the body. It would be wonderful if you write down underneath, your thoughts on the subject and share with all of us here.

‘The Biggest Loser’: season finale
Posted by admin in About Show, Celebrity Gossip on May 14th, 2009
Everyone at ‘The Biggest Loser’ finale was waiting for the decision of American public on who would be leaving the show at this point of time. Finally, Allison Sweeney announced that the people of America have voted out Mike, which meant elimination for his father Ron, too. This meant that Helen and Tara would compete with each other in order to be the winner of the seventh season.
But before the winner could be announced, it was time to find out which of the eliminated candidates has lost maximum weight while at home. It turned out that Jerry had lost maximum percentage of weight from home and he won the prize money of $100,000. After a whole lot of anticipation it was announced that Helen Philips has lost maximum percentage of weight while on the show and with this she became the winner of the seventh season of The Biggest Loser.

By the way, if you had seen her before she entered the show and what she looks like now, you will be shocked. Or there are more chances that you might just get totally inspired looking at her and start thinking of getting a body like hers.
Anyways just like all other previous seasons of the series, this one too was equally inspiring and helped people to chose a healthier way of living life. With seventh season coming to end, the wait is on for the season 8 of the series, as the auditions for the eighth season have already taken place. Lets’ see when the eighth season will hit the screens.
The Biggest Loser: seventh season nearing its end…
Posted by admin in About Show, Celebrity Gossip on May 06th, 2009
The most exciting and inspiring show on television, The Biggest Loser, will soon be finishing with its seventh season. The Biggest Loser is one show on television that not only makes people lose their weight but has also been credited with changing people’s lives and making it fruitful for them.
The seventh season will soon come to an end with only semi finale and finale left on the block. I am sure that last two-three weeks have been pretty exciting for all The Biggest Loser fans. After Laura was eliminated from the show, for not being physically fit, we came ahead with yet another week, where the contestants once again had a tough time working out, trying to lose maximum weight in order to stay in the game. By the end of the episode, the contestants decided to send Kristin home. With Kristin leaving The Biggest Loser was left with simply five contestants.

Before the next elimination could take place the contestants were given a tough task, where they had to climb a hill carrying all the weight that they had lost since they had entered the show. Once again it was time for weigh in and Filipe had to leave the show. After Filipe was eliminated from the show, the remaining four contestants were send home for thirty days to see if they would be able to continue losing weight once they leave the show.
Once the remaining contestants come back from their home, everything depended on how much weight they lost while they were at home. Mike and Ron fell below the yellow line and now it’s up to the people to decide whom to send home at this critical moment.
Well, who would go home at this crucial moment would be announced at the finale of the season. Till then we all have to wait for the live finale episode and find out who wins the title for the season 7.
